WINTER HIGH TEA

Munday's Catering has a love for food and creating memorable events for their customers. They have been trialing High Teas across Australia at every moment they get, in order to understand and experience what it is from a customer's perspective that makes a High Tea so special. From thorough personal experience they have now created a fresh and exciting event in the hometown of Tumbarumba, which has never been seen before.

Offering seasonal teas (4 times a year) for a small and intimate group, tables booked and reserved for all sizes. Every event kicks off with a seasonal mocktail, which once enjoyed can be purchased additional throughout the event. Once you are seated, you then are left to enjoy the soft music, company that you have tagged along and the magical setup of the room. Once you have become acquainted and comfortable you are asked for your desired tea, which is served in beautiful pots. Then comes the main event... A three-tiered stand with 3 sweets, 3 savouries, 3 sandwiches and the classic scones jam and cream. The food is incredible, all made fresh from scratch and chosen specifically to suit the season, a carefully curated menu that also takes into account not to be too filling, to be simple, packed in flavour and light. It is always best to come hungry, but takeaway boxes are always provided to make it less daunting to have to finish. Tea top ups are then offered, but generally the crowds are simply content and full, enjoying their company and the new found love for afternoon tea again.
